Getting Ready for the GMAT

As I have been studying somewhat unsuccessfully on my own for the last few weeks, I decided that I need to take a class to get moving. I signed up for a 6 week class through the Princeton Review. We meet once a week and are assigned homework. The class consists of a maximum of 6 students so I think this will really help my studying and give me the ability and the confidence to receive a good score.

Thank Goodness for Exercise

If I was not such an exercise aficionado I would barely have time to see my friends. Luckily, we share the same mindset and get to hang out, gossip and catch up on each others lives while sweating.

For hot yoga (today was day 4 of challenge, going strong!) Julie and I roll out of bed at the crack of dawn for our 90 minute yoga sessions before heading off to work. Reminds me of crew days...

When I go to the gym, I get to hang out and gossip with Kristen while checking out the good lookin trainers.

For boxing, Kara and I get to take out some of our anger and frustration while learning the proper way to throw a punch, hook or jab.

Luckily, I get to see Liz everyday at work (and she joins me at hot yoga and the gym) to gossip away the day.

17 Day Challenge

After fully enjoying Hot Yoga of Kirkland's beginner 10 classes for $10 deal, I am taking full advantage of another Bikram Yoga studio in Bellevue. Using Julie's coupon, I will be able to take hot yoga classes for 20 days for $20. In Kirkland, they promoted a 30 day challenge, where you challenge yourself to go to one 90 minute hot yoga session for 30 days in a row. I am leaving for a mini-vacation in Portland in 17 days, so I am attempting my own little 17 day challenge. I am going to attend a hot yoga class everday for the next 17 days. For those who do not know, the average studio has a temperature of 105 degrees with at at least 50% humidity....Good luck to me!
